Led vs par cans

Led lights are the more modern option for dj lighting. Effect lighting. And even stage lighting. It's brighter. Bolder. Sharper and not as hot when left on. Overall led is the way to go. However. To get the nice even wash. Par lighting would still be the way to go.

Coming 2012-13 school year

I will be posting gig logs ad photos of productions I do at school and church. Ive seen this done and want to try it. Keep an eye out for more.

New Video

I got the Nikon d3100 for Christmas and love it 100 percent. I made a little video to test it out. Let me know what you think.

Props

When shooting a film, props can make it or break it. You can have many different props, from guns to magic fairy wands (Please don't). but the one that many mess up on are weapons. Now, i am not at all saying  i am some pro at this because, well, i am just not. but, i do know some of the stuff you need to get started.

                                                       

Weapons- there are many different types of weapons to use in films. you can use something like a knife or a gun. when it comes to guns you can go with a silenced pistol, conceled handgun, rifle, silenced rifle, and, well, you get my drift. but please, don't be an idiot and use real guns, go buy some airsoft guns. they work just as well and are safer. with knives, again, don't be and idiot, get a rubber knife like so.
